ASHLEY YOUNG REVEALS WHY SUNDAY’S GAME AGAINST CHELSEA DOESN’T BOTHER MAN UNITED.

Manchester United welcome Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday in a crucial premier league clash.

Mourinho’s side are second on the league table but a defeat to the defending Champions on Sunday could see them tie on points with Antonio Conte’s 4th placed Chelsea.

Manchester United’s star – Ashley Young is however more concerned about United’s Champions League round of 16 first leg clash with Sevilla on Wednesday.

“We can’t look too far ahead. Obviously we know we have got Chelsea coming up (at Old Trafford on Sunday). Sevilla is the next game and that’s where our thoughts are; Young said.

Meanwhile, the England winger is confident United have the quality and experience to win the Champions League.

“Of course we can win the Champions League — you don’t enter a competition not to win it. That’s what we will be looking to do,” Young said.

“Obviously, we have to take each game as it comes. The next one is against Sevilla. That’s a tough away game, like Newcastle away, like Huddersfield. That’s what the Sevilla stadium is like.
“We just have to concentrate on ourselves.”

Young 32, thinks that teammate -Romelu Lukaku is hitting top form at the crucial part of the season.

The Belgian striker scored both goals in United’s 2-0 win at Huddersfield in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Saturday, making it his sixth goal in his last eight games.

“When you have a striker scoring goals, it’s always important. His hold-up play, his all round game was fantastic at Huddersfield, and he’s done that all throughout the season,” Young added.

“He’s getting goals. When you’ve got someone who can hold up the ball like he can and get in the box it’s fantastic.

“And you can see the combinations between them. Alexis comes inside and Rom’s seen him and picked him up as well and they’re picking each other out and they have worked well together so far.”

Young knows the FA Cup win was the start of a huge week for United, and said: “Yeah it’s a massive week. We had to get ourselves back to winning ways after last weekend. We’ve got a tough game against Sevilla away and we’ve got to concentrate on that.
