Cristiano Ronaldo has turned 33 and now looks every bit of his new age.

The Real Madrid superstar is having a nightmare in front of goal this season as the Los Blancos’ hope of defending the La Liga title seem all but gone.

Real are an astonishing 19 points behind leaders Barcelona.

However, after a draw that looked like a defeat against Levante on Saturday, Ronaldo dusted himself off to celebrate his 33rd birthday.

The birthday boy shared a snap of himself on Instagram with the caption: “Thank you all for your birthday messages.”

As a professional footballer the forward has, so far, played for two of the biggest clubs in Europe in Manchester United and Real.

He’s won four Premier League titles, two La Ligas and a total of four Champions League trophies. Ronaldo also led his country to Euro 2016 success two years ago.

And on an individual basis, Ronaldo has won the Ballon d’Or five times.
