Paul Pogba can “make history” and has all the characteristics of winning the Ballon d’Or; according to Ronaldinho.
Manchester United’s star Pogba who returned to the club for a then World record £89m in the summer of 2016, has had an inconsistent second season at Old Trafford; with pundit and fans linking his poor form to his off-field antics.
In all these, World Cup winner – Ronaldinho still have confidence on the Frenchman whom he described as ‘a friend’.
The 2005 Ballon d’or winner reckons that with the talent of Pogba he can follow in his footsteps and win the Ballon d’Or someday.
“He can win the Ballon d’Or, without a doubt,” Ronaldinho told Canal Football Club via the Mirror Sport.
“I see Pogba as a friend, I don’t see myself as his idol.
“He is young, talented and he has the ability to play anywhere, he can play in a free role, defensive, as a runner or attacking.
The Barcelona legend added: “He has the characteristics of a player who can fill any position, he can make history.”
