During his press conference on Wednesday ahead of Chelsea league meeting at Burnley, The Blues boss – Antonio Conte was interrupted by his wife’s call.
The Blues boss quickly rifled through his pocket when his phone rang to switch off the device, telling the reports in attendance: ” It was my wife. Always in the wrong moment. You can fine me, I would be annoyed if the same situation happened with you [journalists]”.
Chelsea travel to Turf Moor to take on Burnley on Thursday, a team that beat them 3-2 at Stamford bridge earlier, in the season.
Chelsea must win the Clarets to keep their slim chances of a top-four finish alive, as they are still eight points adrift of fourth-place Spurs.
Conte said: “I think we have to try until the end to reach this target [top four]. If you want to be realistic, with five games to go it is not simple to reduce the gap.
“We must have the will to fight, we must have the desire to try to take this target. Why not? Tomorrow we have an important game against a strong team.
“They are having a fantastic season and it will be tough to get three points.
“We have to try our best and avoid what happened against Southampton in the first 60 minutes.
“We have to avoid this if we want to keep the hope of finishing in the top four.”
