Borussia Dortmund striker Michy Batshuayi is with the Belgium national team warming up for today’s friendly game against Saudi Arabia, but the striker is already fearing for his spot at his club side – Borussia Dortmund.
Chelsea loaned the 24-year old to the Bundesliga giants in January, and the striker has looked a good fit for Peter Stoger’s side, having netted 6 times in 7 Bundesliga games.
However, an unlikely rival in eight-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt has emerged and Batshuayi joked the ‘classy’ sprinter could take his place in the Westfalenstadion frontline.
Bolt trained with Dortmund last week as he bids to turn his hand to football after a legendary sprinting career in which he won eleven gold medals.
The 24-year-old said: “I watched the videos. He did nutmegs and scored a good goal. He’s a champion. He pushes himself beyond his limits every day.
“He wants to beat all the records. He’s trying to establish himself in another sport, that’s classy, I’m happy for him.
“But I hope he doesn’t come and take my place!”
