Paris Saint-Germain fans are doing everything within their powers to ensure their side qualify for the quarter finals of the Champions league.
Unai Emery’s side lost the first leg of their round of 16 clash to Real Madrid 3-1 at the Bernabeu and are desperate to knock the back-to-back Champions out during the second leg in Paris on Tuesday.
Mirror Sport reports that Los Blancos’ stars were given a hostile welcome by some supporters of France’s capital club after touching down at Charles de Gaulle airport on Monday.
Hoards of fans were on hand as the Champions League holders landed, greeting them with a wall of flares as the La Liga side boarded the team bus.
As if that wasn’t enough; a handful of PSG ‘ultras’ arrived at Hotel du Collectionneur, which is eight kilometres away from the stadium and where Zinedine Zidane’s side are staying, and set off fireworks in the early hours of the morning believed to have been after 1am, just to ensure Real Madrid players doesn’t have proper rest ahead of the crunch tie.
It is not known whether the loud bangs outside their hotel disturbed Real Madrid’s stars – but if that didn’t, the police sirens may well have done the trick.
